Gritty appears to be enjoying his Lake Tahoe vacation
A Philadelphia Flyers game wouldn’t be the same without Gritty. Yes, even at Lake Tahoe.
He joined the team for the cross-country flight and appears to be enjoying his Lake Tahoe vacation.

Gritty has been seeing all of the sights in Lake Tahoe. He had his snowshoes on and everything.
First up, he made the trek through the snow in an eye-catching coat.
Not quite Bigfoot,
But still an urban legend. pic.twitter.com/jbBbLJWA9C— Gritty (@GrittyNHL) February 20, 2021
Bigfoot is an urban legend in the mythical sense. Gritty is just a legend.

The scenes and sights are amazing, including all of the mountains in the area. Gritty took advantage with a ride down the slopes.

It was already quite the day, and he wasn’t even close to being done.
Next up was a helicopter ride. Gritty got a bird’s-eye view of the rink.

Yes, Gritty really rode in a helicopter.
The Avalanche – Golden Knights game was delayed until 9 p.m. local time, but that didn’t stop Gritty. He was still hanging out at the rink.

No one can hide from Gritty. He made sure that was known his first night on the job.
Gritty even had a lot of fun with Blades, the Bruins mascot.

But it’ll be all business come gameday.
Gritty pulled out all of the stops at the 2019 Stadium Series Game at Lincoln Financial Field. He was all over Lake Tahoe on Saturday and he likely has a few tricks up his sleeve for gameday.
Start time for Flyers vs. Bruins at Lake Tahoe moved to 7:30 p.m. EST
The Flyers and Bruins will face off at 7:30 p.m. EST (4:30 p.m. local time). The sun caused some poor ice conditions for Saturday afternoon’s game. That game had to be delayed until midnight EST (9 p.m. local time) after one period of play.
Hopefully, the Flyers will have another outdoor game to remember. Lake Tahoe provides a spectacular backdrop and a win would just make it that much better.
