It’ll be all business on Sunday night for the Philadelphia Flyers, but they took some time to take in the sights at Lake Tahoe this afternoon.

And you can’t blame them. The landscape is amazing and a fantastic backdrop for a hockey game.

Gritty appears to be enjoying his Lake Tahoe vacation

Alain Vigneault spoke about the Lake Tahoe views and the task at hand tonight.

To be fair, it’s hard to not be impressed by the views.

An outdoor game is a “special experience,” said Shayne Gostisbehere, who is playing in his fourth outdoor game (third in the NHL). “This one’s right next to a lake on a golf course so it’s definitely different for sure.”

“We just gotta treat it like a normal game,” Gostisbehere said. “It’s a big two points for us, I know we’re shorthanded, but it says a lot about our team to get out there and put our best foot forward.”

The players took it all in.

It wouldn’t be complete without a group picture.

Look at these beauties.

The Flyers will have to get acclimated during pregame warmups tonight after practicing indoors yesterday.

The Flyers already picked up one point with a shorthanded lineup in their shootout loss to the New York Rangers on Thursday night. The Bruins are on a different level, however. Even without David Krejci and a few defensemen, the Bruins still have their “Perfection Line,” which has wreaked havoc on the Flyers this season.

Flyers vs. Bruins: Projected lines, game notes, and three things to watch at Lake Tahoe

With the Bruins as the designated home team, it’s going to be tough for Vigneault to get the matchups that he wants. Given the fact that the Flyers only really have two NHL forward lines, that is a bit worrisome.

The next-man-up mentality got the Flyers a point on Thursday and they’ll try to get two more tonight against the Bruins.
