Columbus right winger Jake Voracek is not expected to be in the lineup Thursday against his former team, the Philadelphia Flyers, according to Blue Jackets spokesman Todd Sharrock.

The teams will meet at the Wells Fargo Center.

Voracek, traded to Columbus for Cam Atkinson in the offseason, was still on the COVID protocol list Wednesday and unable to practice. He has been on the list since Saturday.

The Blue Jackets were scheduled to take a flight to Philadelphia on Wednesday, but Voracek was not going to be aboard, the club said.

The spokesman said there was a chance Voracek could take a flight Thursday if he came off the COVID list, but that it was “doubtful” he would face the Flyers.

Voracek, 32, has one goal, 24 assists, and a minus-5 rating in 34 games with Columbus (17-18-1) this season.

Atkinson, 32, has a team-leading 15 goals, 29 points, and a plus-6 rating for the Flyers (13-18-8).

Advantage, Philadelphia.
