The Philadelphia Flyers’ management makes it seem like they are between a rock and a hard place in bringing up prospects, as if  they are weighing being a playoff contender this season against recalling young players.

The charade needs to stop.

This is the perfect time to recall players from the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Let them take their lumps and gain some invaluable NHL experience that will benefit them down the road.

I’m talking about defenseman Cam York, center Morgan Frost and goaltender Felix Sandstrom, for starters.
