Flyers Prospect Gauthier Rolls; Bedard Has 13 Pts. in Last 2 Games
Cutter Gauthier continues to impress in the World Junior Championship.
Gauthier, a center/left winger who is the Philadelphia Flyers’ top prospect, had two assists for the second straight game Thursday, helping Team USA whip Switzerland, 5-1, in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Skill he be a #Flyers regular next year? Strong possibility. https://t.co/fcylrurt8q

Switzerland’s team includes defenseman Brian Zanetti, another Flyers prospect. He was plus-1 in 15:58.
The Americans bounced back from a stunning 6-3 loss to Slovakia.
Haddonfield’s Tyler Boucher, an Ottawa Senators prospect, had a goal and has three tallies over the last two games.
Team USA (2-1) will finish group play Saturday by facing Finland.
Meanwhile, Connor Bedard, 17, put on a show in Canada’s 11-0 win over Austria, collecting two goals and four assists. That gave him (gulp) 13 points over his last two WJC games.
Gauthier was chosen by the Flyers with the fifth overall selection in the 2022 draft. Bedard is widely considered the player who will be picked No. 1 overall in the 2023 draft.
