The Philadelphia Flyers looked tired Thursday, their third game in four nights.

Things don’t get easier, as far as their brutal schedule is concerned.

They play games on back-to-back nights Saturday (at Detroit) and Sunday (vs. Winnipeg). That means they will play a ridiculous five games in seven nights.

Thanks, NHL.

Mainly because of TV commitments, all teams go through crazy schedules, of course, and the Flyers aren’t looking to make excuses.

They are just trying to reach down for energy at a critical portion of their surprisingly fascinating season.
