As expected, Philadelphia Flyers right winger Kieffer Bellows cleared waivers Saturday.

Bellows did not play in the Philadelphia Flyers’ 2-1 overtime loss Saturday against visiting Nashville. The Flyers used 11 forwards and seven defensemen.

After the game, the Flyers announced they had sent Bellows to the Phantoms.

The Flyers recalled winger Olle Lycksell, 23, from the Phantoms, but he also did not play Saturday. He played for the Phantoms on Friday night and is expected to be in the Flyers’ lineup Sunday afternoon against Seattle at the Wells Fargo Center.

With the Phantoms this season, Lycksell had 34 points (9-25) in 34 games. The Sweden native was drafted by the Flyers in the sixth round (No. 168 overall) in 2017.

Bellows, 24, hasn’t lived up to expectations since being drafted in the first round (19th overall) by the New York Islanders in 2017.
