Flyers Release 2023-24 Schedule

The Philadelphia Flyers released their 2023-24 schedule, which opens on the road Oct. 12 at Columbus.
This is the first time the Flyers have opened on the road since 2018.
The Flyers’ home opener will be Tuesday, Oct. 17, against Vancouver.
Broadcast information will be released at a later date.
The schedule includes 26 games against the Metropolitan Division. The Flyers’ Stadium Series game against the Devils at MetLife Stadium will start at 8 p.m. on Feb. 17.
The Flyers’ traditional Black Friday home game will be at 1 p.m. against the Rangers. They will have a New Year’s Eve game at Calgary at 8 p.m.
The Flyers’ first look at Stanley Cup champion Vegas will be at 11 p.m. Oct. 24 in Las Vegas.
There will be 12 sets of back-to-back games, down from 15 this past season. The Flyers have seven Saturday day games and one Sunday home game.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Since this schedule was released, the Flyers announced new game times to accommodate national TV games. All of the games are at home.
Here are the new times:
Oct. 19: vs. Edmonton, 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 26: vs. Minnesota, 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 28: vs. Carolina, 7:30 p.m.
March 4: vs. St. Louis, 7:30 p.m.
That’s good, I can plan on doing “other things” those days and nights! LOL! I’ll have to check-in at least a few times to see how some of the youngsters are doing. Assuming DeAngelo (and Sanheim?) will be on the move, the D is going to be brutal.
Interesting to see what the lineup looks like in October. The Flyers will want to see if the young players can actually play at the NHL level.
Thanks for your comments. Would have responded sooner but was busy with non-hockey life all day 🙂

Thanks and no problem! Good point about the lineup. They may have to pickup a vet or two on a short-term, low-cost type contract. (Thinking Marc Staal type.)
