Philadelphia Flyers news

The Philadelphia Flyers turned a few heads when they went outside of the box and drafted Swedish center Jack Berglund with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NHL Draft.

After all, a number of more highly regarded prospects from the scouting community were still available at the time, including top defenseman Leo Sahlin-Wallenius, speedster forward John Mustard, and the small but mighty winger Teddy Stiga.

But Berglund has something the others don’t: size and strength. The young forward’s potential practically has the Flyers salivating.
