The End of the Homestand

The Flyers will wrap up a four-game homestand after Monday’s game against the defending cup champion Florida Panthers.

In the first three games, the Flyers went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the league. They then got booed on their own home ice against Dallas, then turned in a perfect game against Anaheim in an unbelievable atmosphere during Saturday’s 6-0 win.

The Flyers will wrap up the homestand with the defending champs coming to town and look to go .500 (2-2) during the homestand.

Frost Heating Up

Since December 21st against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Morgan Frost has eight points (5G, 3A) in 10 games.

The 25-year-old center has had his name floating around in trade rumors for most of the season. Despite that, Frost has earned top-line minutes the past few games, centering that Tippett – Frost – Konecny line.

While two two-point games are carrying a bulk of Forst’s recent point burst, he has tallied points in six of the last 10, making Frost something to keep an eye on in Monday’s matchup against Florida.

Matchup History

The Flyers are 4-6 against the Panthers in their last 10 meetings, including dropping the first two meetings against Florida this season. They have also lost three straight games to the Panthers.
