The Philadelphia Flyers have a surplus of draft capital in the early rounds of the 2025 NHL Draft. In fact, most of the attention has been put on those early picks, with the Flyers having so many.

However, in the NHL Draft, it’s not always the players that get picked very high that end up being the difference makers. Sometimes, teams find diamonds in the rough, or draft-day steals, that can help change the direction of a team.

The Flyers have one third-round pick, two fifth-rounders, and a sixth, but with what they are working with, it’s not out of the realm of possibility to see the Flyers trade into the late rounds.

With that, there are hundreds of draft-eligible players, and sometimes, they are hard to keep track of. Don’t worry, that’s what we are here for. We name three players in the mid rounds to keep an eye on in the 2025 NHL Draft.
