Sorokin
Goal: (1:46) Travis Sanheim scores on the penalty kill after an assist from Christian Dvorak. (SH) 1-0 Flyers
I mean, this was absolutely disgusting.
Nikita Grebenkin looks like an absolute nightmare for the opposition. If he keeps playing as fast and hard as he is, Grebenkin will make a big impact.
Sam Ersson made a nice glove save on a shot from just in front of the blueline right before the horn to end the first period.
Second Period
Starting Lines/Pairs
Foerster-Cates-Brink
York-Sanheim
Ersson
vs.
Lee-Barzal-Tsyplakov

Sorokin
Goal: (3:45) Max Shabanov tips in the score off a feed from Tsyplakov (PP). 1-1 Tie
Goal: (11:10) Travis Konecny rips a one-timer past the blocker side of Sorokin, assisted by Seeler. 2-1 Flyers
Goal: (11:25) Anders Lee ties the game from the right-side dot, assist from Tsyplakov. 2-2 Tie
Goal: (17:12) Adam Pelech scores the shorthanded goal, assisted by JG Pageau, who patiently waited for Pelech (SH). 3-2 Islanders
Goal: (18:05) Noah Cates answers the SHG with a PPG, cashing in on the cross-net pass from Tyson Foerster. Cam York got the secondary assist (PP). 3-3 Tie
That would be the end of the second period.
Third Period
The third period has been extremely uneventful.
Final: Islanders 4, Flyers 3.

If the flyers other lines can get the chemistry that brink, cates and Forester have, this team will be a ton of fun to watch,at least on the offensive side.Giving up a 2 on none on the man advantage is never a good thing however.
