New Jersey Hockey Now: The New Jersey Devils are looking to lock up a key part of their team on a long-term contract. According to reports, the Devils are looking to extend goaltender Jacob Markstrom. James Nichols has the latest in New Jersey.
NHL.com: Brady Tkachuk has joined his brother Matthew on the IR. The initial timeframe for Tkachuk’s recovery after the injury was a month. Now, it could be much longer. Tkachuk is expected to miss 6-8 weeks after surgery on his right thumb.
TSN: Last year, the Calder Trophy race ran through Montreal and the 2024 No. 1 overall pick. Early on in 2025, it looks like it will be a battle between a Montreal Canadien and the 2025 No. 1 overall pick. Ivan Demidov vs. Matthew Schaefer will be an entertaining Calder Trophy battle.
