The Philadelphia Flyers (3-3-1) return home after a 2-1 loss in Ottawa when they host the New York Islanders (4-3-0) Saturday afternoon.

After losing three straight games to start the season, the Islanders have won four straight, including a dominant 7-2 win over Detroit on Thursday.

The Flyers, or course, have won two of their last four, with wins against the Wild and Kraken, and losses to the Jets and Senators.

Philadelphia will look to get back in the win column on Saturday

The puck drops at 12:30 p.m. EST at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Here is how the Flyers are expected to line up.

Previous Matchups

The Flyers and Islanders split the season series last year 2-2. Both teams got a win at home and on the road.

They saw each other three times in the month of January last season. For those that don’t remember, there was a bit of animosity between the two during the month as Maxim Tsyplakov hit Ryan Poehling up high, giving him a concussion, and earning himself a three-game suspension.

Travis Konecny led the Flyers in points vs. the Islanders last season with four, all of which were assists. Sean Couturier (1G, 2A), Owen Tippett (3A), and Tyson Foerster (3G) all tied with three points against the Islanders.

Bo Horvat led the Islanders in points against the Flyers last season with five, three goals, and two assists.
