Get all of it on the 10/29 edition of the PhHN Daily.
Philadelphia Flyers
Philly Hockey Now: Chaotic is undoubtedly one way to describe Tuesday night’s matchup between the Flyers and Penguins. It looked like two periods of Flyers dominance without the goals to show for it, and a slide in the third period while the Penguins showed up late.
Two overtime-winners, one by each team, were waived off. Both teams had a chance on the 4-on-3 power play. No overtime goals that counted were scored, a post-OT scrap, eight game misconducts, and a shootout.
So yeah, Tuesday night’s game was chaotic to say the very least.
The Flyers came away with the 3-2 shootout win thanks to two very nasty scores by Bobby Brink and Matvei Michkov.
Who stood out on Tuesday?
Flyers News: An update for those wondering who will fill Jett Luchanko’s spot on the roster. The Philadelphia Flyers made the move before puck drop on Tuesday, deciding to recall Emil Andrae.
Andrae was not in Philadelphia on Tuesday, but he arrived on Wednesday and attended the team’s practice.

Forever Blueshirts: Sticking with the Rangers, captain J.T. Miller made his return to Vancouver on Tuesday. How did New York do in Miller’s first game against the Canucks since being traded?
NHLTradeRumors.Me: The center trade market has been a key storyline to watch early this season, and you can see teams starting to line up to get their center. One key player rumored to be on the market may not be as available as initially let on. Pierre LeBrun gives the latest on Pavel Zacha.
