When it rains, it pours…

Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny did not come out of the locker room for the start of Thursday’s third period vs. the Maple Leafs. After about 10 minutes of play, team PR confirmed that the star winger is out for the remainder of the game with an upper-body injury.

The hits keep piling up for the Flyers, as Konecny becomes the third player in the last two games to exit and not return with injury. Bobby Brink and Jamie Drysdale both left Tuesday’s game vs. Anaheim with injuries.

While it remains unclear when and where the star forward suffered the injury, you could see him in a bit of pain while doing the intermission interview.

Konecny scored the lone goal for the Flyers in what is a 1-0 game (at the moment) vs. Toronto.

This season, Konecny has 14 goals, including the goal on Thursday, and 38 points.

An update on Konecny will be provided when available.
