Flyers Game
Flyers Game 60: Lines, Notes, & How to Watch @ Maple Leafs
The Philadelphia Flyers (27-21-11) are back on the road on Monday as they head across the Northern Border to take on the Maple Leafs (27-24-9) in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena.
For Philadelphia, they lost their opener out of the Olympic Break, followed by back-to-back wins, going 3-1-1 over the past five games.
It has not been easy going for the Maple Leafs, who are now at risk of ending a nine-season playoff streak. They have lost their last three games and have gone 2-3-0 over the last five games and 3-7-0 in the past 10.
Toronto will look to get back in the win column as they try to get back on track, while the Flyers look to keep building off their previous two wins.
Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. EST. Here is how the Flyers are expected to line up.

Game Notes
Heading into Monday’s matchup, I’d expect the lineup to remain the same with one change: Denver Barkey back in the lineup. That is not yet confirmed since the team has yet to take the ice for morning skate, but the expectation is that Saturday’s healthy scratch was to be a reset. I would expect Barkey to come in for Nicolas Deslauriers, and the lines to go back to normal.
Since the Olympic break, the Maple Leafs have given up a lot of goals. In all three games following the break, the Leafs have given up four or more goals, including five twice. The Flyers, despite winning two of three games since the break, have not scored many goals. They have had just five goals against a goalie in regulation, and seven total. This could be a good opportunity for the Flyers to get some goals.
I wonder about who will start in goal on Monday. The obvious expectation is that it will be Dan Vladar. However, Sam Ersson played really well vs. New York. Does that earn him a rotation between games? It will be interesting, but both goalies have played well since the break.
Last game, it looked like the Flyers’ top line had started to get going again after reuniting after the break. Trevor Zegras and Travis Konecny each have goals. Christian Dvorak looks like he is playing a little more loosely as the games have progressed. I am keeping a close eye on him on Monday.
