• According to two of The Athletic‘s best, the Minnesota Wild reportedly were aiming to get Cutter Gauthier in a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers back in January before the team pivoted to Anaheim and Jamie Drysdale.
• We have more hockey coming up for at least one Flyers forward; Joel Farabee will be representing Team USA at the upcoming IIHF Men’s World Championships next month.
• This huge Flyers trade with the Anaheim Ducks would help both teams address big-time needs even before they make crucial selections at the 2024 NHL Draft.
• Did the Flyers get the short end of the stick on the Ivan Fedotov contract? Perhaps, but it’s important to keep these things in perspective before passing judgment.
