Another day, another callup for the floundering Philadelphia Flyers.

They recalled defenseman Adam Ginning from the AHL’s Phantoms on Tuesday. He will be in the lineup when the Flyers, losers of seven straight, host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Ginning, 23, a second-round selection by the Flyers in 2018, will make his NHL debut.

The Sweden native has had a solid first year with the Phantoms, collecting 19 points (three goals, 16 assists) and a plus-25 rating for the playoff-bound team.

A physical defenseman who is a lefthanded shooter, the 6-foot-3, 196-pound Ginning does a good job clearing bodies in front.

Eleven months ago, the Philadelphia Flyers signed the stay-at-home defender to a two-year, entry level deal that carries an annual $883,750 cap hit.

Ginning helped Farjestad win the Swedish Hockey League title in 2021-22, and he was the captain for Team Sweden when it won a bronze medal in the 2020 World Juniors.

He will appear in the Philadelphia Flyers’ final home game of the season Tuesday. The Flyers (29-38-13) then play Thursday in Chicago in their season finale.

Columbus (24-47-8) and Chicago (25-49-6) are tied for the fewest points (56) in the NHL. If they remain tied, the Blue Jackets would finish with the worst record because they have two fewer regulation wins (13) than Chicago (15).

The Flyers have the seventh-worst record.

The team that finishes with the worst record will undoubtedly select Connor Bedard, regarded as a generational center.

The team with the worst record would have a 25.5% chance of winning the draft lottery and getting Bedard. The second-worst team would have a 13.5% chance.

At No. 7, the Flyers would have a 6.5% chance of climbing to No. 1.

Stay tuned.
