Philadelphia Flyers First Quarter 2024 First Round Mock Draft

Just because the Philadelphia Flyers are winning doesn’t mean the rebuild is over! In fact, it’s only just begun.

Despite already having key prospects like Matvei Michkov, Cutter Gauthier, Oliver Bonk, Denver Barkey, and more, it’s important that the Flyers maximize their current and future assets for the long-term success of the organization. Philadelphia is not currently in position to draft some of this draft’s premium prospects, but they could take two good ones with the two first-round picks they do have. Or, they could try to package them to move up, if they wanted.

This is all without taking into account that the Flyers still have valuable players like Nick Seeler and Sean Walker on their roster. The team currently has no plans to move either of the two, but each is said to be worth a pretty penny on the open market.

For the sake of this exercise, though, we’ll go based off what the Flyers already have, and their current position in the standings.
