VOORHEES — The Philadelphia Flyers moved on from Thursday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets relatively quickly.

Despite the Flyers winning, 4-1, head coach John Tortorella was far from pleased with the team’s performance. Over the final two periods, the Flyers were out-attempted 43-14 at 5-on-5, per Natural Stat Trick.

Tortorella did add to Thursday’s one-minute press conference after practice on Friday, saying that he “trusts the team” to be aware of how bad they were, adding that Sam Ersson was the Flyers’ best player “by far.”

That was the end of the discussion, with focus turning to the Seattle Kraken on Saturday night. The Flyers did go 0-for-4 on the power play on Thursday, and that was something they worked on extensively on Friday afternoon.
