  • General manager Steve Yzerman is holding out hope that the Detroit Red Wings make the playoffs next season despite anticipating the path being even more difficult than before.
  • Pittsburgh Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas avoided putting Ryan Graves on full blast, but made sure to put it out there that the veteran defenseman needs to make significant strides this summer.
  • Multiple NHL scouts believe that top San Jose Sharks prospect Will Smith is ready for the NHL, but will he return to Boston College instead?
