The Philadelphia Flyers are set to play their penultimate game of the season tonight. The kids led the way on Friday night with Wade Allison and Joel Farabee leading the way. Cam York also looked like an experienced defenseman in his NHL debut.

The Flyers took it to the Capitals in Friday night’s win, but Alain Vigneault is expecting more from Washington tonight.

“There’s no doubt that they’re fighting for playoff positioning and I believe that we have to expect that they’re going to have a bigger push than they did yesterday,” Vigneault said on Saturday afternoon.

The Flyers will close out their two-game set against the Capitals tonight at 7 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C.

Flyers defensive pairs

Cam York will play again on a pair with Justin Braun. Braun was impressed with York on Friday night.

Vigneault echoed those sentiments:

“I thought he looked smooth, seems like a quiet young man, but definitely showed some positive things yesterday on the ice and hopefully he can follow it up tonight.”
