The Philadelphia Flyers avoided their fourth potential salary arbitration case by signing forward Olle Lycksell on Thursday.

Lycksell’s deal is a two-year, two-way, $1.575 million ($787,500 AAV) contract.

Lycksell, 23, played eight games with the Flyers last season, recording one assist. He played 53 games with the AHL Lehigh Valley Phantoms with 14 goals and 31 assists. In three playoff games, he scored two goals and two assists.

The native of Sweden spent five seasons in the Swedish Hockey League before playing in North American last year. He was a sixth-round draft pick (168th overall) in the 2017 draft.

In June, the Flyers offered arbitration to five restricted free agents. They now have signed four of the players. The unsigned player is Morgan Frost.

The Signings:

  • Defenseman Cam York: two-year, $3.2 million ($1.6 million AAV).
  • Forward Noah Cates: two-year, $5.25 million ($2.625 million AAV).
  • Defenseman Ronnie Attard: two-year, two-way/one-way, $1.7 million ($850,000 AAV).
