Flyers lines vs Coyotes: Expected lineups, goalies, and notes
The Philadelphia Flyers (13-10-2) headed out west and will face their hosts, the Arizona Coyotes (13-9-2), at the Mullet Arena for the first time this season at 9 p.m. The Coyotes are 5-0-0 in their last five games, which gives them their longest win streak since the 2018-19. Oh, and they’ve defeated each of the last five Stanley Cup champions during that span. That feat hasn’t been achieved since 1945. The Flyers, on the other hand, are winners of two straight. They’ve gone to extra time in each of their last three, and in four of their last five.
Tonight’s starting goaltenders have already been confirmed. It will be a Carter Hart vs Connor Ingram showdown in the desert.

Carter Hart is Thursday’s confirmed starter, with Sam Ersson backing him up. The team’s extra skaters are Marc Staal, Olle Lycksell, and Louie Belpedio (AHL).
Notes:
- The Flyers called up Olle Lycksell from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday, and he will serve as the team’s extra forward on this road trip.
- Tyson Foerster is on a three-game goal streak, which is tied with Connor Bedard’s three-game goal streak for the longest by a rookie this season. This is the longest goal streak by a Flyers rookie since Phillipe Myers also had a three-game streak, back in 2019-20.
- The only Flyers rookies with longer streaks in the last 12 seasons are Nolan Patrick and Jordan Weal (4 games).
- Michael Carcone is on a four-game goal streak for Arizona, and can become one of four players in Coyotes history to have a five-game streak. Yanic Perreault was the most recent, in 2006-07, and Keith Tkachuk, Travis Green, and Danny Briere have also done so.
