In Sunday’s edition of Bailey’s Daily, we’ll be talking the latest Philadelphia Flyers news, NHL news, stories, highlights, and more from the last day.

Flyers News

  • The Philadelphia Flyers, led by Felix Sandstrom, bounced back from a dreadful loss to the Washington Capitals and held on to defeat the Ottawa Senators 4-2 on Saturday night.
  • Flyers winger Tyson Foerster scored a penalty shot to supply the game-winning goal, helping the Orange and Black make a little bit of NHL history in the process.
  • Did the Flyers sign Denver Barkey? Well, not yet, but the time is coming, and there’s a real possibility he will play in pro games for the organization next month.
  • Flyers goalie prospect Yegor Zavragin has replaced the starting goalie 16 years his senior and is now tasked with saving his team’s season.
  • ICYMI: The Flyers can find a long-term solution for their backup goalie position on the NHL trade market.

NHL News from National Hockey Now

  • It ain’t over ’til it’s over; a New Jersey Devils trade for Calgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom is still possible, according to a new report.
  • The Nashville Predators planned to trade Tommy Novak if he did not sign a new contract, but that no longer looks like a concern for the Preds.
  • CHN+: Who is Zakhar Bardakov? The former Devils prospect joins the Colorado Avalanche as a potentially really promising player for the future.
  • Another young player in Magnus Chrona starred for the San Jose Sharks, but the team still can’t find a way to put together some wins.
  • Unfortunately for them, it appears a massive Boston Bruins trade target is destined to become a Tampa Bay Lightning player.
