In Tuesday’s edition of Bailey’s Daily, we’ll be talking the latest Philadelphia Flyers news, NHL news, stories, highlights, and more from the last day.

Flyers News

  • The Philadelphia Flyers acquired Ryan Johansen in the Sean Walker trade, but he hasn’t reported to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms yet; he’s reportedly injured, but wants to reconcile and appear in games for the NHL club.
  • Should the Flyers sign star SHL winger Marcus Sylvegard? It could be a good idea, and players like Sam Ersson, Adam Ginning, and Olle Lycksell have played with him in the past.
  • For PhHN+ members: Denis Gurianov, one of the Flyers’ newest additions, could hold the keys to the team’s success down the road in the midst of a massive playoff push.
  • In case you missed it, Flyers head coach John Tortorella was suspended two games and fined $50k for his “unprofessional conduct” against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
  • The John Tortorella ejection was an all-time classic, by the way; refusing to leave the bench is a rockstar move and shows he has the Flyers’ backs unconditionally.

NHL News from National Hockey Now

  • After Matt Rempe was once again ejected for a bogus cheap shot, New Jersey Devils tough guy Kurtis MacDermid called out the rookie, telling him to “be a man”.
  • Speaking of the Devils, this post-NHL trade deadline Montreal Canadiens trade isn’t moving the needle at all, but it is always fun seeing a trade go down well after the deadline.
  • After colliding with Vladimir Tarasenko, Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad is out for a minimum of two weeks – for now.
  • The Chicago Blackhawks just signed prospect Landon Slaggert to an entry-level contract; here’s what it means for these three Blackhawks prospects.
  • According to Elliotte Friedman, Daniel Alfredsson and the Ottawa Senators may be willing to welcome Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Erik Karlsson back home.
