• The Flyers have been on the receiving end of two blowouts in the last week, and their lackluster performances are starting to reflect poorly on Sam Ersson, the rookie goalie given the unenviable task of keeping the season alive.
• But, what is really going on with the Flyers these days? They are certainly in trouble with their upcoming schedule, but it is not the end of the world just yet.
• Speaking of the upcoming Flyers schedule, their season officially starts now. It is, without a doubt, crunch time in South Philadelphia.

• It’s been a while since we heard about Buffalo Sabres rookie Zach Benson, but the diminutive winger was dominant in Buffalo’s huge win over the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
