With seven games left in the Philadelphia Flyers’ 2023-24 season, the NHL playoff push is surprisingly trending toward a dramatic finish.

The 36-29-10 Flyers have slid down to the last wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference, tied with the Washington Capitals at 82 points apiece. Washington, however, has two games in hand over the Flyers.

Then there’s the Detroit Red Wings, who, despite being 3-5-2 in their last 10 games, are right on the Flyers’ tails, sitting at 80 points with a game in hand.

If the NHL playoffs started today, the second wildcard Flyers would face the Metropolitan Division-leading New York Rangers in the first round.

Going hand in hand with the Flyers‘ high-stakes games, putting a wager on the Orange and Black might amp up the excitement and the thrill of the playoff race.

Bettors might find a few advantages, especially if you’re into soccer, by checking out Kate Richardson – author at MightyTips, for some betting specials and advice.

Moneypuck, whose advanced NHL stats and metrics have been used all over the globe, gives the Flyers a 72.2% chance of making the playoffs and a 19.4% chance of advancing to the second round.

However, Moneypuck has given the Flyers only a 0.7% chance of winning the Stanley Cup this season.

According to FanDuel, the Flyers have +7000 odds to win the Stanley Cup this season; a $10 bet would earn you $700 if successful. The Flyers’ odds of making the playoffs are -188, so a $10 bet would win bettors only $5.32.

Perhaps sportsbooks are convinced by the arrival of goalie Ivan Fedotov and the return of defenseman Nick Seeler. As we know, nothing is set in stone, so be sure to get your bets in now in order to try and maximize your winnings with the Flyers down the stretch.
