NHL Daily: Flyers Could Deal Provy; Hakstol a Coach-of-Year Candidate

The Philadelphia Flyers would consider dealing defenseman Ivan Provorov in the right trade, according to a report.
Philly, meanwhile, is rolling, and is being led by an unlikely player, rookie goaltender Sam Ersson. The Flyers won for the fifth time in their last six games Monday as Ersson (4-0, 2.30 GAA, .924 save percentage) blanked the Sabres in Buffalo, 4-0.
And Dave Hakstol, who used to direct the Philadelphia Flyers, has become a strong Coach-of-the-Year candidate. Hakstol’s second-year Seattle Kraken have a stunning 23-12-4 record after Monday’s 4-0 win in Montreal. Seattle went 27-49-6 in its first season. The Kraken are (gulp) 13-4-2 on the road this season.
