Philadelphia Flyers
NHL Bets: Flyers have dominated against the spread this season
We take a break from your regularly scheduled Philadelphia Flyers news, rumors, editorials, recaps, and etc. to bring you a different kind of news. Kinda.
It’s no secret that the Flyers have been way ahead of expectations this season, and that has gone beyond the product on the ice at times. That’s right: we’re talking sports betting. NHL bets, Flyers bets, and winning against the spread. Winning against the spread at a higher rate than the Flyers winning real games.
This season, the Philadelphia Flyers have been flat-out dominant against the spread, compiling a record of 21-9 so far. This includes a run of five straight wins against the spread from Oct. 17 against the Vancouver Canucks to Oct. 26 against the Minnesota Wild. After that disappointing loss to the San Jose Sharks, the Flyers made more bettors happy, ripping off another six straight on the spread from Nov. 10 against the Anaheim Ducks, to Nov. 22 against the New York Islanders.
Flyers bets and NHL bets inbound to North Carolina
If you or someone you know is a Flyers fan situated in North Carolina, in particular, you’re in luck. Sports betting is set to become legal in North Carolina, starting in 2024. That means that betting apps are going to come in handy soon, and not just for folks living farther south. The link, courtesy of BetCarolina, includes the best app choice for new bettors, the app with the widest global reach, the app for most experienced bettors, and more.
In total, there can be up to 11 choices for Philadelphia Flyers fans to decide on within the next year. This is pretty significant, as more and more states begin to ease up on betting regulations. North Carolina, of course, is home to the Carolina Panthers, the Flyers’ Metropolitan Division rival Carolina Hurricanes, and the University of North Carolina’s Tar Heels.
The moral of the story? Don’t be afraid to take the Flyers against the spread. Also, do your research and see which betting apps best suit you.
