• Flyers Notebook: Jamie Drysdale took a 5:45 a.m. flight out of Nashville to arrive in Philadelphia, then took part in his first practice as a Flyers player at noon. The 21-year-old’s arrival gave the defense an entirely new look, and some friends offered their thoughts on Drysdale as a player and as a person. [Flyers Notebook]
• With Drysdale now with the Flyers and with the Flyers having no outgoing players, they’re carrying eight defensemen. Nick Seeler, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Sean Walker have all been reported to be highly sought-after assets on the NHL trade market. Is another move on the cards? [Flyers news]
