In Thursday’s edition of Bailey’s Daily, we’ll be talking the latest Philadelphia Flyers news, stories, highlights, and more from the last day, including some epic moments from Wednesday night’s Flyers game.

Flyers news

  • Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella went out of his way to stick his neck out for his former player, Kevin Hayes. Tortorella took a moment away from his press conference to go NUCLEAR on the person who started the rumors. [John Tortorella]
  • Before that happened, the Flyers took on the Montreal Canadiens. Sam Ersson started, so naturally the game went into a shootout again. It didn’t matter for him and the Flyers. [Flyers recap]
  • Now that Jamie Drysdale is in Philly, it’s been reported that his best friend, Trevor Zegras, is also a trade candidate. Could the Flyers trade for Zegras, and should they? [Trevor Zegras]
  • Carchidi: Even though the Flyers lost their second-best piece in a trade, they still did a great job on the trade. Even still, the rebuild has slowed down a bit. [Carchidi Column]
