Who Is Flyers’ Travis Konecny Playing With at 2024 NHL All-Star Game?
Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny will make his second NHL All-Star Game appearance when he plays at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3. For the 2024 NHL All-Star Game, Konecny was drafted by yellow captains Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar, and pop star Tate McRae.
Team MacKinnon will face Team McDavid first.
But first, who else will the Flyers winger be playing alongside? Here’s Team MacKinnon as follows:
- Nathan MacKinnon, Colorado Avalanche
- Cale Makar, Colorado Avalanche
- Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins
- Alexandar Georgiev, Colorado Avalanche
- Kirill Kaprizov, Minnesota Wild
- Sebastian Aho, Carolina Hurricanes
- Tom Wilson, Washington Capitals
- Jeremy Swayman, Boston Bruins
- Travis Konecny, Philadelphia Flyers
- Elias Lindholm, Vancouver Canucks/Calgary Flames
- Oliver Bjorkstrand, Seattle Kraken
Team MacKinnon also reportedly made a deal with Team Hughes to allow Brock Boeser to join his Canucks teammates in exchange for MacKinnon to be able to draft his idol, Sidney Crosby.
Family and friends seemed to be the theme of the 2024 NHL All-Star Game draft this year. Jesper Bratt joined New Jersey Devils teammate Jack Hughes on Team Hughes. Boeser, J.T. Miller, Elias Pettersson, and Thatcher Demko all joined Canucks captain Quinn Hughes’ squad as well.
Team Matthews, led by Auston Matthews, managed to snap up all of the Toronto Maple Leafs players, a group that included Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and Morgan Rielly.
Konecny, of course, is the Flyers’ lone representative this year. You can see the Flyers star in action for the 2024 Honda (U.S.)/Rogers (Canada) NHL All-Star Game on Saturday (3 p.m. ET; ABC, ESPN+, SN, CBC, TVAS).
Konecny and Team MacKinnon will face Team McDavid in Game 1 and Team Hughes will play Team Matthews in Game 2. The two winning teams will play each other in a third game to determine the winner.
