In Thursday’s edition of Bailey’s Daily, we’ll be talking the latest Philadelphia Flyers news, NHL news, stories, highlights, and more from the last day.

Flyers News

  • Danny Briere and the Philadelphia Flyers stayed busy on Wednesday; in the first of two moves, the Flyers helped the Vegas Golden Knights complete the Noah Hanifin trade.
  • In their first move, though, the Flyers traded defenseman Sean Walker to the Colorado Avalanche for veteran forward Ryan Johansen.
  • How did the Flyers do in the Sean Walker trade? Based on our early impressions of the return, this trade has a lot of potential for future benefit.
  • In between those two trades, the Flyers announced that they had signed veteran defenseman Nick Seeler to a four-year contract extension.
  • With Seeler on injured reserve after blocking a shot, the Flyers called up defenseman Adam Ginning from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

  • The hottest team in the NHL just got even hotter after this trade; Vladimir Tarasenko is headed to the Florida Panthers.
  • Casey Mittelstadt out, Bowen Byram in? This deal between the Avalanche and the Buffalo Sabres was easily the wildest of the day on Wednesday.
