In Monday’s edition of Bailey’s Daily, we’ll be talking the latest Philadelphia Flyers news, NHL news, stories, highlights, and more from the last day.

Flyers News

  • With his storied five-year NCAA career with the University of Minnesota Gophers now over, the Philadelphia Flyers could make a move to sign prospect Bryce Brodzinski, a 2019 seventh-round pick.
  • With just seven games left in the season, and after a tumble down the NHL standings, the updated Flyers playoff odds are in.
  • Rookie Flyers forward Tyson Foerster reached an impressive career milestone in Saturday’s unspeakable loss to the visiting Chicago Blackhawks.
  • With the Flyers down 2-0 early in that game, veteran forward Scott Laughton took matters into his own hands, getting a couple of licks in on Ryan Donato in a lightweight fight.
  • Perhaps most importantly, the Flyers welcomed back rugged defenseman Nick Seeler from an 11-game absence that felt much longer than that on the ice.

NHL News from National Hockey Now

  • The University of Michigan has advanced to the NCAA Frozen Four, but don’t miss the assist of the year from Blackhawks prospect Frank Nazar – you’ll regret it.
  • In some other NCAA hockey news, Nashville Predators prospect Matthew Wood is moving on to greener pastures, but his next destination is not yet clear.
  • Playing for the Detroit Red Wings AHL affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins, goalie Sebastian Cossa has been unbelievable, picking up a point for the team in each of his last 17 starts.
  • FHN+: Kyle Okposo once knocked the Florida Panthers out of the playoffs as an Islander, but now that he’s playing in Sunrise, it’s time to even the score.
  • Sportsnet: This could be interesting! The Seattle Kraken have recalled forward Shane Wright from the AHL Coachella Valley Firebirds.
