If you like overtime hockey, check out the 3ICE tournament coming to the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday.

3ICE plays a three-on-three format — as the NHL does in its overtime. So much ice surface emphasizes speed, shows off players’ skill and produces more scoring chances. The first semifinal game begins at 1 p.m.

Philadelphia Flyers special advisor to hockey operations John LeClair is a coach in the league as is former Philadelphia Flyers assistant coach Joe Mullen, former Edmonton goalie Grant Fuhr and former Montreal Canadiens forward Guy Carbonneau.

Philadelphia will host the final four for the Patrick Cup on Saturday. The final four emerged after six weeks of qualifying play.

In the first semifinal, Team Murphy — coached by Stanley Cup champion Larry Murphy — will play Team Johnston, led by long-time NHL goalie and former Penguins coach Eddie Johnston Sr.

The other semifinal will match Team Patrick — coached by Craig Patrick, who was an assistant coach under Herb Brooks on the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team that won the gold medal — against Team Bourque. Yes, that is Raymond Bourque, Hall of Famer and Stanley Cup champion.

The semifinal winners will play for the Patrick Cup and the semifinal losers will play for third place. All four games are on Saturday.
